PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Sept. 30, 2008) Sailors man the rails as the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2 arrives for a brief port visit before the completion of a deployment. The Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a seven-month deployment in the 5th and 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation, as well as Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
