INDIAN OCEAN (Oct. 2, 2008) A Sailor aboard an unidentified U.S. Navy ship observes a vertical replenishment between the Military Sealift Command combat stores ship USNS San Jose (T-AFS 7), the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Antonio (LPD 17). The ships are part of the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group and are deployed supporting maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
